Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or a relevant professional accounting qualification with at least 8 years of experience in FBP/FPNA. 
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships, stakeholder management, communicate effectively across all levels. and strong in problem-solving
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively “outside the box” and have strong business acumen.
- Sophisticated presentation and storytelling skills – build insightful presentation and effectively communicate business narrative to influence.
- Eye for detail with strong ability to influence decision making by key stakeholders and good articulation skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude, meticulous, able to work with large amount of data and do hands-on task.
- Prior experience working with a Technology company as well as experiences developing financial models and dashboards is highly preferred.
- Advanced excel skills and working knowledge of Workday Finance, BI tools such as Tableau and MicroStrategy
- Able to work with large amounts of data to discover patterns and trends, transform business requirements into models/dashboards/reports.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills, with proven track record of initiating process improvements/automation and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to adapt and working in a fast paced, rapid changing environment and comfortable in proposing, justifying, initiating, and implementing change.
 
Job Description
1. Division Level reporting

- Partner divisions to ensure month/year-end close activities such as accruals are being performed timely.
- Detail monitoring and analysis of operating revenue, expenses and capital expenditure utilisation against budget and funding source
- Prepare and present financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances to stakeholders including recommendations, highlight key variance, area of improvements where necessary.
- Provide financial insight to business unit for timely decision making.
- Partner division and project team on monthly forecasts, annual budgets, revised budget submission including presentation to stakeholders for approval and recommend moderation where necessary.
- Monitor fixed and variable costs to clearly understand cost drivers and improve budget marksmanship.
- Review and provide input on financial related matters for funding request, quarterly project reporting and end of project reporting.
- Ensure compliance of company policies, accounting standards, IMs and Government policies.
- Ongoing engagement with business unit to stay updated on business developments.
- Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationship with business unit
- Undertake ad hoc projects and analysis work or any other duties assigned when required.


2. Group Level reporting

- Facilitate the budgeting and forecasting process, support the business units to own their assumptions and enable them to understand both the impact on them for centrally set assumptions and the consequences on the business and financial for assumptions set by the business divisions.
- Generate management reports and ad-hoc government reports on various financial aspects, while also ensuring processes under your responsibility comply with governance requirements.
- Coordinate government grant funding calls within the company and liaise with project teams on project proposal submissions.
- Manage budgets within Workday and evaluate budgetary concerns arising from divisional operations.
- Present critical financial and operational information, develop forward-looking analysis and complete cost forecast plans and budgets, analysing levers behind the cost base and deriving valuable financial insights that are decision-useful.
- Construct financial models to perform in-depth analysis where necessary.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements for management reporting , budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist in performing ad-hoc analysis/task in order to provide financial recommendations to management as assigned.
