Job description
Job Requirements:
- O level, Diploma, or degree in translation studies, linguistics or related disciplines
- Candidate without relevant education qualification will be considered if they have the specific language teaching experience
- Bilingual in English and Malay
- Experience in translating copy for the Singapore context preferred
- Experience in digital product and user experience teams preferred
Required Skills:
- Proven ability to understand complex information and translate into effective copy
- Able to work independently
- Able to use Google sheet and communication tool such as slack
- An eye for detail
Job Descriptions:
- Translate content on digital products from English to Malay
- Understand the message for the user and adhere to the tone and voice of the product when translating the content
- Work with other content producers to produce copy that is coherent across the digital product
- Deliver in a timely fashion to meet set deadlines
