Salaries and Benefits:
- Up to $11,940.00 per month

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop new infrastructure improvements and initiatives for the GovTech Data Platform in areas such as data observability, Infrastructure-as-Code, DataOps, etc
- Develop and maintain data pipelines across the medallion lifecycle from raw data (bronze) to consumption-ready data (gold)
- Develop data models using appropriate concepts (e.g. Data Vault 2.0, Kimball, etc)
- Implement data governance policies on the GovTech Data Platform with the data governance team to manage data access and control over GovTech data
- Co-develop data quality pipelines on the GovTech Data Platform with the data governance team to monitor and remediate data quality issues together with domain data owners and data stewards
- Co-develop GovTech master and reference data tables with the data governance team and publish them for Govtechies use on the GovTech data catalog
- Develop data domain specialisations in various aspects of GovTech functions such as Human Resources, Finance, Product, Infrastructure, etc.
- Ensure the reliability and security of the GovTech Data Platform to minimise any data downtime for GovTech-critical data products
- Serve as accredited subject matter experts for the GovTech Data Platform technology stack, including but not limited to Databricks, Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc
- Provide expert guidance to Govtechies in building, maintaining and optimising data pipelines in Spark
- Conduct feasibility assessments, proof-of-concepts and production rollouts for best-of-industry tooling (e.g. dbt, Neo4j, Fivetran, Apache Atlas, etc)
- Support the development and mapping of the GovTech Data Estate across the entire agency
Key Requirements:
- Strong skills in SQL and Python (knowledge of Spark or distributed computing is a bonus)
- Experience with data modelling and data architecture concepts
- Experience with data platform tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Cloudera, etc
- Experience with data infrastructure management on cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience with data management concepts such as data access, data quality, data security, etc
- Driven and motivated team player who can work independently
- Passion for championing new improvement initiatives and desire to always make things better
- Willing to learn and willing to share knowledge and mentor other team members and Govtechies
