1. Grants Administration and Management (Harmony Fund)
- Engage grant applicants to introduce grant objectives and assist with their clarifications
- Conduct end-to-end administration of MCCY’s Harmony Fund grant applications that support social cohesion. This includes:
- [Pre-award] assessment of grant applications, evaluation of applicants’ proposals and budgets, liaison and communication with applicants to seek clarifications
- [Post-award] preparation of letter of award, funding agreement, communicating application outcome, tracking project progress, reviewing of project reports, verifying expenditure reports and grant disbursement
- Assist in knowledge management and grant process optimisation matters, including maintaining the grant registry, tracking status and progress of applications, reporting grant data as well as reviewing and streamlining Harmony Fund grant management processes
- Assist in reviewing Harmony Fund grant end-to-end processes
- Book calendars of senior management ahead of various committee meetings
- Assist relevant meeting secretariats to consolidate attendance, assist with logistical preparations and on-site set up before committee meetings e.g. preparing refreshments, coordinate with caterer, prepare nameplates, setup meeting room, print meeting materials and folders for attendees
- Assist with contract or appointment letter preparations
- Liaise with relevant personnel to seek security clearance
- Assist to vet documents/files from other Ministries and to coordinate with external parties for input.
Key Requirements:
- A degree qualification minimally in relevant fields of study e.g. Arts & Social Sciences, Humanities, Communications, Business Administration, Arts and/or Heritage Administration.
- Minimum of 1-2 years or 3 or more years of experience
- Strong writing and verbal communication abilities, meticulous, organised and process oriented, good analytical skills (able to evaluate proposals, draw conclusions, make recommendations), adept at IT and administrative skills
