This will include engaging stakeholders and industry players to develop policy options to ensure fare affordability and financial sustainability for the public transport system, performing statistical analysis, drafting policy papers and reviewing legislation.
You will also work with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of policies, work closely with other government agencies and regulated entities to be effective in the role.
- Tertiary qualification in any discipline.
- Keen interest or experience in economics or finance, and practical experience in formulation and development of public policies.
- Preferably with knowledge and experience in statistical analysis and/or Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Meticulous with strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, work independently and with others under pressure.
