Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supporting the conceptualisation and review of scam assessment programmes and determining programme scope and parameters
• Developing entry/exit criteria for scam support programmes and conceptualising outcome evaluations
• Reviewing and developing evaluation data collection tools including semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and databases
• Conducting data transcription, cleaning, and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data
• Writing technical reports for internal circulation to support victim care efforts
• Preparing academic reports for potential journal publication
• Creating presentation materials for training, seminars, and conferences
• Supporting the implementation of trauma-informed practices in policing, particularly in victimology
• Conducting training and assessment work for various courses
• Any other duties as assigned by the unit

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Psychology or other relevant fields
• Work experience in psychology or related behavioural sciences (particularly in applied forensic work, victim support, or related fields) would be advantageous
• Experience in research settings and project management
• Strong understanding of statistics and proficiency in statistical software
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with sensitive populations and handle confidential information
• Understanding of trauma-informed approaches would be advantageous
