Roles & Responsibilities:
Programme Coordination
- Plan and oversee activities and events to engage youth and introduce them to the larger Youth Corps ecosystem. Ensure smooth coordination of internship programmes, workshops, and other youth engagement initiatives.
School Partners Engagement
- Support Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) in engaging community partners, stakeholders, and sector resources for service projects. Identify learning needs in collaboration with IHL partners to design and coordinate training programmes tailored for youth development.
Community Partner Engagement
- Collaborate with community partners to curate meaningful service opportunities suitable for youth volunteers. Guide youths to create sustainable and impactful community service projects, ensuring alignment with community needs.
Training Programme Design, Coordination, and Delivery
- Coordinate with training partners to design and implement training content aligned with Youth Corps objectives.
Training Evaluation
- Conduct after-action reviews and collect feedback to assess training programme effectiveness. Analyse data to ensure training outcomes meet intended objectives and inform future improvements.
Evaluation Data Management
- Manage the process of survey data collection and curate survey questions based on NYC key indicator outcomes. Guide team members in effective data collection and analysis practices.
Key Requirements:
- Background in and/ or passion for community service, youth development, programme coordination, training and/ or volunteer and partnership management will be advantageous
- Some experience in liaising/ working with Social Service agencies and IHLs
- Possess excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to engage and guide youth volunteers, including availability during weekday evenings and weekends where necessary
- Ability to adapt well and thrive in a dynamic environment with attributes of resourcefulness, self-motivation, curiosity and learning agility
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in cross-functional teams within a dynamic environment.
