Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns: weekly flash sales, monthly promotions, seasonal events, and membership program initiatives
- Own campaigns end-to-end — from initial brief and creative development through to launch, monitoring, and post-campaign analysis
- Create and optimise landing pages, promotional banners, and digital assets for online and offline campaigns
- Manage campaign timelines and ensure all deliverables are met on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate campaign-specific content for social media, email, WhatsApp broadcast, and in-store materials
- Manage Brightstar’s social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) — content calendar, posting, and community engagement
- Plan and execute paid digital campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads) with clear ROAS targets
- Oversee SEO/SEM strategy for brightstarcomp.com in collaboration with the ecommerce team
- Manage email marketing and WhatsApp blast campaigns — segmentation, copywriting, scheduling, and performance tracking
- Monitor and respond to brand mentions, reviews, and DMs across all platforms
- Analyse weekly campaign performance, website traffic (Google Analytics), and social media metrics — deliver reports with clear, actionable insights
- Track and report KPIs: conversion rate, CAC, engagement rate, ROAS, campaign ROI, and follower growth
- Develop monthly and quarterly marketing plans based on data, seasonal opportunities, and business objectives
- Implement A/B testing on ad creatives, copy, landing pages, and email subject lines to continuously improve performance
- Plan and execute offline marketing activations: roadshows, trade shows, mall events, and product launch events
- Manage event logistics: venue coordination, permit applications, promotional materials, booth setup, and on-ground execution
- Represent the Brightstar brand professionally at all external events and activations • Coordinate with mall management (Plaza Low Yat, IOI City Mall, Leisure Mall, Vivacity) on event approvals and signage
- Work closely with Sales team to align campaign mechanics, promotional pricing, and deal structures with revenue targets
- Coordinate with Product/Buyer team on product launch timelines, hero SKU selection, and bundle promotions
- Liaise with E-Commerce team on campaign product listings, platform voucher setups, and online-offline synergy
- Brief and manage external vendors: designers, photographers, videographers, print suppliers, and media agencies
- Ensure all marketing materials maintain brand consistency — correct logo usage, colour palette, tone of voice, and visual standards
- Build and maintain a content asset library: product images, banners, videos, and brand templates
- Coordinate product photography and video shoots for new launches and campaign creatives
- Draft marketing copy for promotions, social posts, email blasts, and in-store POS materials
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of marketing experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or consumer electronics
- Fresh graduates with strong internship portfolio in digital marketing will be considered at the lower salary band
- Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, or TikTok Ads Manager
- Familiar with Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Insights, or similar analytics tools
- Proficient in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for basic design work
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for campaign tracking and reporting
- Experience with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar) is a plus
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and visual aesthetics
- Data-driven mindset — able to interpret performance numbers and translate them into campaign decisions
- Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines
- Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through without constant supervision
- Experience running TikTok Shop campaigns or live-stream marketing
- Photography or videography skills for content creation
- Knowledge of IT/tech product categories (laptops, peripherals, gaming gear)
- Experience coordinating mall roadshows or trade events in Malaysia
