Salaries and Benefits:

• Up to $15.70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support the engineering team in overseeing the construction, installation, and commissioning of large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Work closely with project consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in equipment testing, commissioning, and performance verification activities for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems.
• Attend factory acceptance tests (FATs) locally and overseas to inspect, verify, and ensure the quality and reliability of major equipment and systems.
• Provide technical support in the operation and maintenance of complex industrial facilities and systems.
• Coordinate maintenance activities between contractors and internal teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programmes, equipment inspections, and improvement initiatives for electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Support contract administration and management of service providers for engineering, maintenance, and facility-related works.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and safe work practices during maintenance and project activities.
• Assist in the development and review of operational procedures, safety guidelines, testing plans, and equipment changeover programmes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and safety standards.
• Perform shift duties when required to support facility operations.
• Carry out any other engineering-related duties and projects as assigned.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Nitec in any Engineering course.
• For Diploma holders, preferably with 3 years of relevant working experience. Fresh diploma graduates will be considered.
• For Nitec holders, preferably with 6 – 8 years of relevant working experience.
• Candidates with professional certification e.g. Licenced Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant Certificate, Workplace Safety Health Officer, will be given preference.
• Good technical background and strong analytical skills. Knowledge in solid waste management would be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, and preferably in Navisworks and Primavera P6.
• Mature, independent, resourceful, and a good team player.
• Good interpersonal communication.
• Able to work in waste-to-energy facilities.
• Able to perform rotating shift work over public holidays and weekends, if necessary.
