Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage infrastructure, renovation and upgrading projects from planning to completion.
- Develop project plans, budgets, timelines and resource allocation.
- Manage procurement, contractor appointments and project execution.
- Monitor project progress, risks, quality, safety and budget performance.
- Support preventive maintenance, repairs and daily facilities operations.
- Manage service contracts and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Support emergency response and sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct facility assessments and recommend infrastructure improvements.
- Support strategic planning and the implementation of new technologies and best practices.
- Prepare reports and management updates on project and operational performance.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Lead and support facility teams where required.
- Manage operational and project budgets, monitor expenditures and identify cost optimisation opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with a significant focus on managing upgrading and renovation projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex facility projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and relevant health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FMP, CFM, PMP) are highly desirable.
