About the Company: 
Our client safeguards Singapore’s environment and public health through environmental protection, waste and resource management, and meteorological services.

Salary and Benefits:

• Up to $28.40 per hour
• Comprehensive insurance coverage

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage procurement activities, including calling new tenders and executing contract variations, conducted by the Division, ensuring that Government Procurement guidelines are adhered to and value for money purchases are attained. 
• Preparation of procurement related documents including requirement specifications and evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate with operations team to develop project scopes and objectives for operational & maintenance services, equipment provisioning and infrastructure upgrading.
• Obtain budgetary quotations and prepare funding papers to secure budget.
• Conduct market research and engage industries to understand supplier landscape and market supply conditions.
• Research and develop requirement specifications and other procurement documents for launching of tenders in GeBIZ, prepare presentation and conduct site show-round.
• Evaluate tender submissions and prepare award papers for approval and coordinate with internal stakeholders for the execution of the project.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Key Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in procurement practices and processes
• Knowledge in Government Procurement Instruction Manuals is a bonus
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills
• Attention to details
• Comfortable to work in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. 
• Self-driven and always ready to strive for improvement
• Good interpersonal skills and enjoy working with both internal and external stakeholders
