Salary:
- Up to $3,500.00 per month
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Conference Management (Such as the Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC) and IDEAS in HPE)
- Plan, coordinate, and execute health professions education conferences (such as the Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC) and IDEAS in HPE) including logistics, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Liaise with speakers, presenters, sponsors, and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Manage participant/speakers’ registrations, abstracts, communications, and post-event evaluations.
- Coordinate venue arrangements, audiovisual requirements, and catering services.
- Prepare and disseminate conference materials, such as programmes, abstracts, and presentations.
2. Workshop Management
- Design and organise interactive workshops for health professions educators, students, and professionals.
- Collaborate with facilitators to develop workshop content.
- Arrange meeting with workshop facilitators.
- Arrange workshop venues, materials, and technical support.
- Handle participant enrollment, attendance tracking, and feedback collection.
- Ensure workshops are delivered within budget and meet quality standards.
3. Medical Grand Challenge
- Support the planning and execution of the Medical Grand Challenge, an innovation competition addressing healthcare issues.
- Coordinate with teams, judges, and mentors to facilitate a smooth competition process.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, venue setup, and resource allocation.
- Promote the event to attract diverse participants from medical and related fields.
- Document outcomes and compile reports on the event’s impact and participant feedback.
4. Publicity
- Develop and implement publicity strategies to promote the Centre’s events, programmes, and achievements.
- Create engaging content for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and newsletters.
- Monitor and analyse publicity campaign performance to optimise outreach.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, including academic institutions, healthcare organisations, and media outlets.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in event management, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in digital tools for event management, content creation, and analytics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in event planning, education, or healthcare settings is an advantage.
