Job Requirements:
1. Plan budget exercises and coordinate efficient use of financial resources.
2. Facilitate financial, management reporting and coordinate statutory returns submissions
3. Provide financial support, advice and oversee finance processes to ensure compliance to guidelines
4. Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- With at least 6 years’ experience in budget, finance or accounting
- Degree holder in relevant study such as finance / accounting
- Comfortable with synthesizing and sense-making large volume of figures and data from diverse sources such as systems and stakeholders to present insights and make recommendations for decision-making in a tight timeline
- Strong communication skills and confidence to engage senior management and diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in using Power Bi or other data analytic tools will be an advantage
- Aptitude for figures and well-versed in Excel is a must
- Effective project management and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and work with tight timeline
- Able to be work independently and as a team member
- Detailed-oriented
- Past experiences with finance/accounting in the public sector will be an advantage.
1. Plan budget exercises and coordinate efficient use of financial resources.
- Consolidate and assess divisions’ budget requirements and performance during budget exercises
- Evaluate and provide recommendations on funding proposal and requests from departments
- Monitor divison’s budget utilisation and resource budget
- Understand issues holistically and analyse impact to the organization and departments
2. Facilitate financial, management reporting and coordinate statutory returns submissions
- Prepare and present budget dashboards with insights to Senior management and Divisions regularly for decision-making
- Prepare financial updates for management reporting
- Liaise and review returns from divisions for timely and correct submissions to other clients
3. Provide financial support, advice and oversee finance processes to ensure compliance to guidelines
- Manage and ensure smooth and error-free processing of finance transactions
- Provide advice and support on financial policy and processes
- Ensure compliance of processes in accordance with financial guidelines
- Review and improve processes
4. Other duties as assigned by supervisor
