Roles & Responsibilities:
The candidate will support both grant management and programmes within the Resilience and Engagement Division. Key responsibilities include:
1. Grant Management:
- Process and manage grant applications through assessment, disbursement, and project closure, including handling change requests and ensuring successful completion.
- Gather grant data, respond to public queries, and attend site visits as required.
2. Programmes support:
- Assist in the rollout of integration programmes by working with government agencies, partners and vendors to ensure smooth implementation from registration to completion.
- Monitor programme metrics, gather stakeholder feedback, and compile data to support continuous improvement of programmes and systems.
3. Secretariat Support
- Book calendars of senior management ahead of various committee meetings.
- Assist relevant meeting secretariats to consolidate attendance, assist with logistical preparations and on-site set up before committee meetings e.g. preparing refreshments, coordinate with caterer, prepare nameplates, setup meeting room, print meeting materials and folders for attendees.
- Assist with contract or appointment letter preparations.
- Liaise with relevant personnel to seek security clearance
4. Project Administration
- Assist to vet documents/files from other Ministries and to coordinate with external parties for input.
5. Any other duties as assigned
Key Requirements:
- General Diploma / General Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in project development, implementation, grant processing and/or programme management in public agencies or private practice.
- Experience in public agencies will be an added advantage.
- Strong programme implementation and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication, interpersonal and writing skills with ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Resourceful, meticulous and a team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to think logically.
- Independent, proactive and highly committed with a strong sense of integrity.
- Good understanding of Singapore’s political and social contexts.
- A passion for Singapore and keen interest to contribute to helping newcomers integrate into Singapore society.
