Salary & Benefits:
- Up to $3,160.00 per month

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Division of matrimonial assets: Identify the division ratio and the rationale behind the allocation.
- Grounds for divorce: Determine the legal grounds on which the divorce was granted.
- Duration of proceedings: Assess and report the timeline of the divorce proceedings.
- Ancillary matters: Document the frequency and types of disputes related to ancillary matters (e.g., custody, maintenance, property).
- Others: Capture any additional relevant information or patterns observed in the court documents and judgments that may be useful for policy or case analysis.
4. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection regulations when handling sensitive legal documents.
5. Develop and validate the logic and rules to be built into a proposed AI system for future extraction of such data.
1. Educational Background:
- A degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
2. Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret legal documents and judgments.
- Excellent written communication skills for preparing clear and concise reports.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in extracting and summarizing information.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, data validation, pivot tables, filtering, and basic formulas to organise and analyse legal research data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, for drafting legal documents, formatting citations, and creating structured reports.
3. Experience:
- Prior experience in legal research or working with court documents is preferred but not mandatory.
- Legally trained and/or qualified, with demonstrated ability to analyse case law, interpret legal documents, and extract relevant precedents, data, and/or legal principles from complex judgments and case notes.
4. Other Attributes:
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Highly systematic and methodical approach to work.
- Familiarity with family law and divorce proceedings in Singapore is an advantage.
