Roles & Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing the Client’s Tiered Data Governance Framework and Data Security Instructions (DSI) to build up the data protection and security capabilities of the social service sector;
• Fostering robust data security practices within to ensure that the data is sufficiently protected; and
• Cultivating data capabilities and data culture to transform the  system into a data-driven  ecosystem.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure their use cases comply with Government IM requirements on collection, use, disclosure of data
• Compile inputs from various  Divisions to support the signing of the Secured Data Exchange Agreement (SDEA) with social service partners
• Coordinate with external auditors and social service partners to assess the sector’s data security capabilities through the DSI Compliance Assessment
• Assist in the review and rollout of the Data Security Instructions (DSI)
• Support the enhancement of the officers’ data proficiency (e.g. planning and organising data focused events such as the quarterly Data Community Exchange and annual system Data Hackathon, designing EDMs to promote data best practices within the Client, assisting in the review of the Data Sharing Guide for officers)
• Any other duties assigned relating to data governance/strategy
