Headcount: 1 pax (Full Time) 

Salaries & Benefits:

• Up to $3,200.00 per month
• Comprehensive insurance coverage

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide event and operational planning, management and support for the projects, initiatives and programmes by the Tamil Language Council (all events will be conducted in Tamil)
• Provide logistics, production and implementation planning, event management (online, physical or hybrid/blended), operational management for the campaign’s initiatives, including online and offline events, competitions, press conferences or queries, pre- and post- event publicity and event execution and wrap-up and assessment.
• Provide secretariat support (eg: preparing arranging and coordination of councils’ meetings, preparation of meeting materials, taking minutes, etc)
• Maintain, manage and update the Campaign’s website and social media platforms
• Coordinate and liaise with Tamil Language Council
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Language Councils Secretariat
• Must be able to read, speak, write and type in Tamil

Key Requirements:

• A proactive attitude and strong multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other scheduling tools
• Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in interview coordination or administrative support is a plus
