Headcount Needed: 1 Pax (Full Time)
Salaries and Benefits:
- Up to $5,000.00 per month
- Comprehensive insurance coverage
- Issued e-Medical Card upon 3 months of service
- Tele-consult available upon 3 months of service
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Counselling Services
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions for students
- Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies for students with specific needs
- Maintain confidential records of counselling sessions and student progress
2. Preventive Measures
- Design and conduct workshops for students on mental health awareness and social-emotional skills
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate social-emotional learning into the curriculum
- Implement early intervention programmes to address potential issues before they escalate
3. Collaboration and Networking
- Participate in regular meetings with the Student Development Team
- Liaise with external professionals and agencies when necessary for student support
- Engage in professional development activities and share best practices with other school counsellors
4. Student Support
- Provide crisis intervention and support for students facing acute challenges
- Offer guidance on academic and career-related concerns
- Assist in the transition process for students entering or leaving the school
5. Programme Evaluation
- Conduct regular assessments of the counselling programme’s effectiveness
- Gather feedback from students, teachers, and parents to improve services
- Prepare and submit reports on counselling activities and student outcomes
Key Requirements:
Time Commitment:
- Provide counselling services for 40 (8 hours x 5 days) hours per week, with specific hours to be negotiated
- Be available for occasional after-hours support in case of emergencies
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications and experience:
- A diploma in counselling or equivalent or higher
- 1 year of relevant student counselling experience in Singapore
The Personnel should have the experience that will demonstrate some or all the following skills:
