Roles & Responsibilities:
The Culture Academy (CA) plays a key role in grooming the next generation of cultural leaders in the public sector. The Academy’s work focuses on 4 inter-related areas: Leadership and Capability Development, Research and Scholarship, International Partnerships, and Corporate Policy & Data.
The officer will be supporting International Partnerships and Corporate Policy & Data teams, and will be exposed to a variety of learning opportunities, including:
Corporate Policy & Data
- Ensure the smooth execution of administrative duties (e.g. updating mailing lists, sending out publicity emailers, scheduling meetings for the division, filing, etc.).
- Assist with all admin and logistics arrangements for any events that team is organising.
- Support work on knowledge management processes and projects.
- Developing SOPs/ databases.
- Generate reports for the division.
- Secretariat duties, including management of meetings and taking notes and post-meeting follow ups.
International Partnerships
- Assist with all admin and logistics arrangements for any events that team is organising.
- Arrange foreign visits/ meetings, including liaising with local and foreign counterparts.
- Undertake desktop research as needed.
- Review and/or put up simple submissions on various CA programmes for international cooperation.
- Update mailing lists/ database of contacts
Key Requirements:
- People without experience can be considered.
- Min a good Diploma, preferably with 2 to 3 years of working experience in admin work
- A self-starter who is driven, takes initiative and a good team player
- Able to work within tight timelines and possesses good administrative and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and interest in technological applications will be advantageous.
- Any field of study with an interest in arts, culture, and heritage.
- Specialisation in Arts & Social Sciences; Communications; Events Management, – Business Development; International Relations will be an advantage.
- Versed in Microsoft office
- Good eyes for details
- Ability to work in dynamic working environment
- Team player
